The announcement of the withdrawal of the fuel subsidy is causing a lot of angry public discussion and disagreement. Nigerians have been caused to lose sleep and peace since the January 1st avoidable proclamation was made. No matter all the hallucination of benefits the proponents of this inane policy are watering down the throat of Nigerians, the fuel subsidy removal is a debauching New Year Gift from President Goodluck Jonathan-led government to Nigerians.

Nigeria embassy Thailand vs Nigerians in Thailand
By John Mike

Olugbenga Ashiru FA Min
The unresolved crisis and the silence of home government… When diplomatic wickedness is growing unchecked in any land, the masses suffer untold harms! This is exactly what Nigerians living in Thailand are suffering in the hands of our so-called ambassador Suleiman and counselor Abayomi since August 23, 2011 when Nigerians in Thailand protested against an unacceptable and unbearing misrepresentation by the Embassy. And the silence of our home government on this issue has continue to worsen the issue as it encourages the embassy to continue to hold Nigerians like Mr Uche Ijere in Thai jail.

In a post made sometime in October 2011, I had warned that the
decision of the 36 State Governors to refuse NNPC and PPPRA to make deductions for fuel subsidy from the Federation Account for September 2011 fuel imports was going to result in a stalemate at the start of January 2012. The Governors followed it up by refusing deductions for October, November and December 201

 A German view of Islam

We owe ourselves & our children to do our bit to keep the world sane...A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools.
