Immediately
the news broke that Nuhu Ribadu has been appointed the chairman Petroleum
Revenue Special Taskforce, the first thing that came to my mind were his days
in EFCC. Then I thought deeply about Nigeria and I remembered what
Senate President, David Mark said at a lecture marking former Governor of Imo
state, Chief Ikedi Ohakim’s first year in office, precisely 16 May, 2008.

From Berlin to Brussels: Will Europe under-develop Africa again?
By Chukwuma Soludo
Africa
is in trouble. Its future is once again on the table, and it is Europe that holds the ace. Unlike the Berlin Conference
of 1884 to 1885 which balkanized Africa among 13 European powers as guaranteed
sources of raw materials and market, the current contraption under the Economic
Partnership Agreements (EPAs) spearheaded from Brussels is the modern day equivalent of the
Berlin Conference.

God’s rights,
women’s rights, human & democratic rights
By
Odimegwu Onwumere
Many people are hardly obeying God in the present-days. They are much
concerned about how to make Human Rights and Democratic Rights effective,
instead of the ways of God. Especially, the politicians and feminists are
culprits. And when you try to put the record straight that God laws/rights
detailing how men and women should operate in the world is sacrosanct, they
tell you that you are living in the past and are barbaric. But even though they
change God laws/rights for their selfish pleasures, a point from the bible
perception says, "I am the LORD, I change not." (Malachi 3:6).
