The new leadership of Budapest plans to radically transform public transport and traffic regulations in the city, Népszabadság reports

They plan to outsource bus transport, tighten checks for tickets and transform the system of discounts for students and pensioners on public transport.

Related plans call for a unified parking system, higher fees for trucks, a congestion charge and local traffic taxes.
