Németh Lászlo primary school wins tolerance cup

Németh Lászlo primary school has won this year’s Tolerance Cup by defeating Molnár Ference 6-2 in a six-aside football tournament involving four schools in district 8.
The competition which was held at the famous Orczy Park on May 27 produced pupils between the ages of 12-16 who used the avenue to display their football talent.


These kids often name themselves after world renowned football stars like Christian Ronaldo, Messi, Casillas and so on.

Organised by the Mahatma Gandhi Human Rights Organisation, it was in continuation of promoting tolerance through football among school kids in Budapest.

Teachers, pupils and spectators told African News Hungary that bringing school kids together in this kind of atmosphere is important in order for them to have wider perspective of life.

Virtually everyone got prizes of trophy and medal.

The best goal prize went to Radics Lajos of Németh Lászlo. Versics Dániel of Deák Diák and Vörös Zsolt of Németh Lászlo got the best goalkeeper prize respectively. There were several other prizes for different categories.

Deák Diák came third while Lakatos Menyert finished at the 4th position. 

Mahatma Gandhi Organisation has been using football as a way to promote integration and multiculturalism since 1994.
