NEWS BUSINESS

Business award night in Budapest

Friends of Nigeria Business Forum recently held its award night at Rozmaring Restaurant in Budapest district 3. Awards were presented to many business executives who were recognized for their efforts in doing business with Nigeria.

The event which was attended by some high profile officials from both Hungarian parliament and Foreign Affairs, and business executives in various fields, is said to expatiate on the broad business opportunities in Nigeria.

Foreign Ministry representative, Ambassador Bokor Balazs hinted that the department for Africa in the ministry is working hard to engage Nigeria - even Africa on the necessity to move further forward.

"The ministry is working hard to engage Nigeria and Africa as a whole in developing potential and innovations," said Balazs, adding that it's highly necessary because the continent of Africa is making head on economically.

Meanwhile, participants were warned to be street smart in any business dealing, taking into consideration the possibility of  fraudsters who prowl around the world looking for whom to devour.

Dr. John Sessi said that fraudsters are real, hence would-be business executives interested in doing business in the most populous nation in Africa should be aware of this negative side as well.

The President of the Association, Chief Tunde Komolafe, was visibly disappointed because of the absence of the Nigeria ambassador to Hungary who had been invited as the Guest of Honor.
