Creating stability & lasting peace in Libya
By Dr. David Leffler

In June 2014, Libya held its second election since Col. Gaddafi's overthrow, but the hoped-for stability is still elusive. Libya has had five governments since the 2011 revolution and despite the June elections turmoil continues to reign.

Warring militias continue their battle for Libya's main airport. Fighting escalates as it spills out across western Tripoli. Trade is almost at a standstill. The Libyan government has approached the United Nations, requesting that it organize some type of intervention to try to ease rising tensions. Leader's can only guess how long such an intervention would take to work, if even at all.
Even if this strategy ends the current tense situation, the best guess is that it will prove futile in preventing any future violence. The EU says "there is no military solution to Libya's problems; the only option is a political solution." But how can Libyans unite for a political solution while there is so much infighting and chaos? Growing hostilities pour ever more fuel on a fire that is difficult to control. Result: Hopes for stability and a lasting peace pushed even farther into the future.
Invincible Defense Technology (IDT), a proven, state-of-the-art, non-violent military solution
Yet the mounting misery could end quickly and rising tensions could be rapidly reduced if the Libyan government or any other Libyan-related organization intervened with Invincible Defense Technology (IDT), a proven, advanced military solution. IDT is a scientifically validated approach. Extensive in-field military experience, coupled with peer-reviewed research shows that IDT can effectively, efficiently and quickly end the current turmoil, and eliminate the rising spiral of violence. If the Libyan government quickly deploys this statistically verified approach it will create an atmosphere of reconciliation and moderation forming the basis for a long-term political settlement.
This IDT approach to reducing civil stress, unrest and violence has been field-tested by foreign militaries. It is validated by 23 peer-reviewed studies carried out in both developed and developing nations. They include the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Independent scientists and scholars endorse it, based on 25 years of research.
IDT Reduces Societal Stress
IDT uniquely neutralizes the underlying power base of contending groups, which is the stress, frustration and civil dissatisfaction prevailing in the general population. By eliminating the root cause of insurgency, violent outbreaks are pre-empted and prevented. IDT is effective because it gets to the heart of the matter. Insurgency often thrives in nations in which decades or even centuries of under-employment, poverty, and hunger have created a huge societal weight of pressure of stress, frustration and endemic unhappiness. This inevitably finds expression in acts of civil unrest, social violence, and a downward spiral of economic degradation.
A specially trained military unit, an "IDT Prevention Wing of the Military" uses IDT to reduce stress in the national collective consciousness. IDT could also be introduced into other large groups such as the police forces, or militias. As the stress and frustration ease, the population is more capable of finding orderly and constructive solutions to their problems.
Experience with IDT in other war-torn nations demonstrated increased economy incentive and growth. Entrepreneurship and individual creativity increase. With increased civic calm, people's aspirations are raised and a more productive and balanced society emerges. Such a society abhors violence as a means for change or as an expression of discontent. With this the ground for terrorism is eliminated. What is more fascinating is that this change takes place within a few days or weeks after IDT is introduced. The changes are measurable from such statistics as crime rates, accidents, hospital admissions, infant mortality, etc.
Rapid Transformation Through IDT
The daily routine for the IDT military personnel includes the practice of the Transcendental Meditation program and its advanced TM-Sidhi program. As a societal coherence-creating military unit, they practice these programs twice a day, seven days a week, preferably in a secure location near the targeted population.

Such coherence-creating groups have achieved positive benefits to society, shown statistically, in even just 48 hours. Modern statistical methods used in this research preclude chance or coincidence and demonstrate a causal influence.
The IDT approach has been used during wartime, resulting in reduction of fighting and in number of deaths and casualties, and in progress toward resolving the conflict peacefully. Societies applying IDT perform extremely well in a very short time. This is what decreased the intensity of war in Lebanon in 1984 in a dramatic way in 48 hours, to name only one of the successful experiments.
Documented Transformation in Mozambique
In 1992, the Mozambique military carefully analyzed the IDT research and decided to try it. As predicted, violence disappeared by 1993 and Mozambique became more self-sufficient. The economic growth reached 19%. Once the poorest world country in 1992, by 2000, it had moved up to be the world's fastest-growing economy. Former Mozambique President Joaquim Alberto Chissano, who learned the Transcendental Meditation program himself, introduced it to his cabinet and then the armed forces. Nineteen years of civil war and drought ended and President Chissano is the first to give credit to IDT for this effect. Mozambique continues to be a shining star for Africa and a model for development. President Chissano was awarded the inaugural Ibrahim Prize in recognition of the unprecedented positivity that welled up throughout all Mozambique under his unique guidance.
Summary
IDT works by utilizing state-of-the-art human brain mechanics, the most powerful natural resource possessed by every nation on earth. The beneficial transformational effects of IDT have been statistically proven numerous times to decrease and prevent violence and terrorism, and boost the economy. This defense technology supersedes all other known defense technologies (which are based on electronic, chemical, and/or nuclear forces). The military that deploys this powerful human-resource-based technology disallows negative trends and prevents enemies from arising, and as a result, it has no enemies. No enemies means no terrorism and no insurgency.
The Time for Action is Now
If the Libyan leaders and well-wishers establish Prevention Wings of the Military, they will ease high tensions, reverse mistrust, hatred, create stability and permanently prevent future unrest. Extensive scientific research objectively says, "Yes, the approach works." Why not use it in Libya? Time is running out. The best time to act is now before the situation worsens.

Love the article on Gaddafi
We must rise above tribalism & divide & rule of the colonialist who stole & looted our treasure & planted their puppets to lord it over us..they alone can decide on whosoever is performing & the one that is corrupt..but the most corrupt nations are the western countries that plunder the resources of other nations & make them poorer & aid the rulers to steal & keep such ill gotten wealth in their country..yemen,syria etc have killed more than gadhafi but its not A̷̷̴ good investment for the west(this is laughable)because oil is not in these countries..when obasanjo annihilated the odi people in rivers state, they looked away because its in their favour & interest..one day! Hello from
Johannesburg
I was amazed to find a website for Africans in Hungary.
Looks like you have quite a community there. Here in SA we have some three million Zimbabweans living in exile and not much sign of going home ... but in Hungary??? Hope to meet you on one of my trips to Europe; was in Steirmark Austria near the Hungarian border earlier this month. Every good wish for 2011. Geoff in Jo'burg

I'm impressed by
ANH work but...
Interesting interview...
I think from what have been said, the Nigerian embassy here seem to be more concern about its nationals than we are for ourselves. Our complete disregard for the laws of Hungary isn't going to help Nigeria's image or going to promote what the Embassy is trying to showcase. So if the journalists could zoom-in more focus on Nigerians living, working and studying here in Hungary than scrutinizing the embassy and its every move, i think it would be of tremendous help to the embassy serving its nationals better and create more awareness about where we live . Taking the issues of illicit drugs and forged documents as typical examples.. there are so many cases of Nigerians been involved. But i am yet to read of it in e.news. So i think if only you and your journalists could write more about it and follow up on the stories i think it will make our nationals more aware of what to expect. I wouldn't say i am not impressed with your work but you need to be more of a two way street rather than a one way street . Keep up the good work... Sylvia
