Causes & Constraints: UN failure to protect people

The United Nations (UN) was established in 1945, during
the Second World War. It is perceivable that the fear of fighting another World
War may have been the major compelling factor for a man like Franklin Roosevelt
to commence with the UN idea, intending to create an avenue for countries to
engage in dialogue first, and desist from the temptation to take up arms against
each other when provoked.
