Egyptians began
voting freely on Wednesday for the first time to pick their president in a wide
open election that pits Islamists against men who served under deposed leader
Hosni Mubarak. The contest is a novelty for a nation where elections during the
30-year rule of a man some called "Pharaoh" were thinly attended
rigmaroles in which the result was a foregone conclusion.

The essential question
of the role of a man in modern Kenyan society continues to generate more questions
than is readily answerable. Surely but gradually, the archetypal masculinity of
man is being windswept into the ocean of gender equality.
Whitney Cerak lives a pretty normal life nowadays. Which seems just fine with her. Six years after being mistaken for dead, Cerak is now a wife and mother. In fact, she married her soldier boyfriend, Matt Wheeler, in the same church where her family had held her funeral.

Africa Day 2012: a moment for reflection & celebration
By
Samwin Banienuba
Late Dr. Nkrumah
25th May is
Africa Day. For many years it has been a celebration of African unity. It dates
back to 1963 when the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) was founded in Ethiopia on the
25th of May. Before then 15th April, which marked the first Conference of
Independent African States held in Ghana in 1958, was upheld as
African Freedom Day.
The
is one ill which has bedevilled the educational system and if honestly
confronted head-on and eliminated will change the perception which the comity
of nations do have about Nigeria certificates and thus make our certificates
acceptable and by extension Nigeria good place where honesty and transparency
is venerated.
Sir, the attack on the convoy of the Chairman of Independent
National Electoral Commission, Professor Attahiru Jega while emerging from the
palace of Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu in Jigawa State is
unwarranted. One now questions when it has become a crime to attend or honour
wedding invitation of an Emir whose daughter is being wedded.

Individuals of Charisma are often sincerely called to mind,
eulogized, remembered and or immortalized while still alive for their colossal
humanitarian disposition not only to the poor, the less privileged, the
unemployed but also to persons who genuinely needed to be helped given the
availability of resources at the givers disposal and prompting of the donor’s
spirit.

Love the article on Gaddafi We must rise above tribalism & divide & rule of the colonialist who stole & looted our treasure & planted their puppets to lord it over us..they alone can decide on whosoever is performing & the one that is corrupt..but the most corrupt nations are the western countries that plunder the resources of other nations & make them poorer & aid the rulers to steal & keep such ill gotten wealth in their country..yemen,syria etc have killed more than gadhafi but its not A̷̷̴ good investment for the west(this is laughable)because oil is not in these countries..when obasanjo annihilated the odi people in rivers state, they looked away because its in their favour & interest..one day! Samosa Iyoha Hello from Johannesburg I was amazed to find a website for Africans in Hungary. Looks like you have quite a community there. Here in SA we have some three million Zimbabweans living in exile and not much sign of going home ... but in Hungary??? Hope to meet you on one of my trips to Europe; was in Steirmark Austria near the Hungarian border earlier this month. Every good wish for 2011. Geoff in Jo'burg I'm impressed by ANH work but... Interesting interview... I think from what have been said, the Nigerian embassy here seem to be more concern about its nationals than we are for ourselves. Our complete disregard for the laws of Hungary isn't going to help Nigeria's image or going to promote what the Embassy is trying to showcase. So if the journalists could zoom-in more focus on Nigerians living, working and studying here in Hungary than scrutinizing the embassy and its every move, i think it would be of tremendous help to the embassy serving its nationals better and create more awareness about where we live . Taking the issues of illicit drugs and forged documents as typical examples.. there are so many cases of Nigerians been involved. But i am yet to read of it in e.news. So i think if only you and your journalists could write more about it and follow up on the stories i think it will make our nationals more aware of what to expect. I wouldn't say i am not impressed with your work but you need to be more of a two way street rather than a one way street . Keep up the good work... Sylvia My comment to the interview with his excellency Mr. Adedotun Adenrele Adepoju CDA a.i-- He is an intelligent man. He spoke well on the issues!
