What many Nigerians have said that is the renewed effort of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to re-assess the ex-Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu over alleged money impropriety while in office is better said is a renewed effort of the commission to insult and molest Nigerians.

Euro 2012 - UEFA to investigate racist chanting

UEFA are to investigate two matches at Euro 2012, Spain-Italy and Russia-Czech Republic, over allegations of racist chanting. "Following the provision of new independent information today, regarding the two cases of alleged racist chanting in the Spain-Italy and Russia-Czech Republic matches, UEFA is now conducting further investigations," UEFA said in a statement.

Malawi cancels plan to host AU summit

Malawi has announced that it will not go ahead to host the African Union Summit which was scheduled to take place next month in Lilongwe. The development comes after the Sudanese government wrote to the African Union Commission to move the summit from Malawi to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia after Malawi indicated it will arrest Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
