2012: Year of mysterious occurrences
By Theresa Onwughalu

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has described year 2012, as a “cryptic year”. He predicted that it is a year of positive and negative mysterious occurrences and assured the faithful that there is ‘no shaking’ for them.

Pastor Olukoya at the 2011/2012 cross-over service, MFM Prayer City, along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, said that 2012 will also mark the extinction of the strongman in charge of hard labour.

Reeling out a 32-point prediction for the new year, which he themed “Year of Dominion Celebrations and Supernatural Open Heavens”, Olukoya said the divine judgment of 2011 will give rise to powerful men in 2012, as the effect of last year will impact on the new year, adding that the new year will witness disgraceful humiliation of proud rulers.

According to the MFM General Overseer, who read from II Kings 18: 31-39, year 2012 will “magnify both success and failure; the river will swallow the fish and crocodile would be forced to miscarry,” pointing out that some of the predictions will require the Holy Spirit to interpret to the people.

Dr. Olukoya said 2012 will see major conflicts in several parts of the world, wherein nations will go against each other, races will quarrel against races and tribes will raise arms against each other, warning that a lot of prayers will be required to avert major environmental disasters.

Year 2012, he further predicted, is a year when the Lord will tear the mouth of the lion, to bring out what the lion has swallowed, noting that this is a year when evil doers will swallow their evil pills because hands will be twisted and believers will possess their blessings.

Some of the other predictions included economic dominion for those who hate wastage; crude manifestation of divine powers; all-round hospitality and multiplication; emergence of yet unknown products and innovations; horrible occult manifestation of falsehood and progress for those who know their God.

He, however, gave a 12-point master-key for survival in the new year, saying: “This year, when it is hard to pray, then it is time to pray hard; God can only mould those He had already melted; strangers to prayer are strangers to power; worry must die because it is faith in the devil; fame is a vapour, popularity an accident, riches take wings but character endures and killing time is not murder, it is suicide, so do not waste time.”

Others are that: “anyone can make a mistake but fools practice the mistakes, so do not be at the centre of habitual sins/errors; keep a cemetery ready to bury unprofitable thoughts; fear is unbelief in disguise, do not allow fear rule your heart; fighting from heaven makes you superior to your enemies; no problem can stand the assault of sustained prayers and heavenly wisdom is not a luxury but a necessity.”

Love the article on Gaddafi
We must rise above tribalism & divide & rule of the colonialist who stole & looted our treasure & planted their puppets to lord it over us..they alone can decide on whosoever is performing & the one that is corrupt..but the most corrupt nations are the western countries that plunder the resources of other nations & make them poorer & aid the rulers to steal & keep such ill gotten wealth in their country..yemen,syria etc have killed more than gadhafi but its not A̷̷̴ good investment for the west(this is laughable)because oil is not in these countries..when obasanjo annihilated the odi people in rivers state, they looked away because its in their favour & interest..one day! Hello from
Johannesburg
I was amazed to find a website for Africans in Hungary.
Looks like you have quite a community there. Here in SA we have some three million Zimbabweans living in exile and not much sign of going home ... but in Hungary??? Hope to meet you on one of my trips to Europe; was in Steirmark Austria near the Hungarian border earlier this month. Every good wish for 2011. Geoff in Jo'burg

I'm impressed by
ANH work but...
Interesting interview...
I think from what have been said, the Nigerian embassy here seem to be more concern about its nationals than we are for ourselves. Our complete disregard for the laws of Hungary isn't going to help Nigeria's image or going to promote what the Embassy is trying to showcase. So if the journalists could zoom-in more focus on Nigerians living, working and studying here in Hungary than scrutinizing the embassy and its every move, i think it would be of tremendous help to the embassy serving its nationals better and create more awareness about where we live . Taking the issues of illicit drugs and forged documents as typical examples.. there are so many cases of Nigerians been involved. But i am yet to read of it in e.news. So i think if only you and your journalists could write more about it and follow up on the stories i think it will make our nationals more aware of what to expect. I wouldn't say i am not impressed with your work but you need to be more of a two way street rather than a one way street . Keep up the good work... Sylvia
