The 51st African Union was celebrated at the Hungarian Museum of agriculture in the Varos Liget Park on Thursday May 29.

Speaking at the
event, Martonyi Janos, Hungarian Foreign minister described the relationship as
vigorous, rekindle and friendly.
The guest of honour
said that for the past four years Hungary has been vigorously rekindling the
friendly partnership it has with Africa in terms of foreign affairs and
economic development.
Responding, the Dean
of African Diplomats in Hungary, Algerian Lounes Magramanne welcomes the
gradual development. And beaming with smile,
his Excellency told our correspondent that “at long last, Hungary has extended its
hands to the continent and assisting where it can.”
The event was also
used to pay tribute to the former Egyptian ambassador to Hungary who passed
away recently.
In performance to entertain
at the occasion was the Angolan dancing group with belly dancers and Afro Magic.
