Home Secretary reading the crackdown |
British Home Secretary has announced that the number of migrant workers coming to Britain from outside EU will be capped at 21, 700 from 28, 000. Theresa May made this known at the parliamentary session on Tuesday when she said that Britain must stop those who are fond of abusing their visa, which she described as privilege rather than automatic.
She told her colleagues in the parliament that all areas being abused will be blocked as part of the measure to reduce economic migrants.
There will be crack down on student visa, sham marriage and other areas where immigrants usually exploit. But firms will still be able to bring non-EU workers into the UK on ICTs for less than 12 months as long as they earn £24,000.
This invariably means that Britain will not limit numbers of “Wealth Creators” who can come to UK.
She explained further that most students came to Britain with intention to work and live instead of studying.
The government has said that it will review immigration again next year

A long time in coming, but too late we fear, and not enough.
ReplyDeleteA shame, this once was a nation with some pride. Although we are not allowed national pride any longer, as apparently thats racist.
Go figure.
This is the most tolerant country in the world and it pains me to see the way its residents are abused and ridiculed.
