Mr. Gbagbo, Ivory Coast president, has been captured with the help of France and United Nations forces who had bombarded his palace for some weeks.
ANH says this is a dangerous precedence if a Sovereign nation such as Ivory Coast is allowed to be humiliated by the forces of imperialist. Of course, ANH does not in any way support the tight-sit mentality of most African rulers.
However France and other colonial manipulator should leave Africa to determine its future and, or destiny. The people of Ivory Coast should tarry a little before celebrating the capture. Mr. Ouattara, Gbagbo's rival in the disputed elections that resulted in the death of thousands of Ivorian people, should also think deeply. He should know that Gbagbo's demise is a metaphor.
The French that supported him by toppling Gbagbo is the same French that would support another man if he, Ouattara fails to dance to their music. A word is enough, even for a foolish man.
It is so sad that African greedy rulers are allowing the imperialists to intervene to re-colonise the continent.
